What should I pack in my Stripper Bag?

The ultimate guide to what you will need in your bag for your first night as an exotic dancer! Are you ready?

Each weekend, I haul an overflowing duffel bag into my locker – filled with everything I will need between the hours of 10 pm and 6 am.

To ensure you don’t forget anything on your first night as a lap dancer, I have compiled a list of items you should consider putting into your stripper bag!

STRIPPER HACK: If you are working at a new club and will be keeping items of value in the changing facilities, use a lockable suitcase as a precaution.

.: What are you going to wear? :.

Firstly, you will definitely need some hot lingerie-sets to work in and possibly even a full-length dress to wear whilst socialising with customers.

But don’t panic if you don’t have any ‘stripper underwear’ as of yet – once you’ve found your identity as a dancer, everything else will fall into place. Before long, you will have a good idea of your customer base, your ideal age range and how to attract them best – earning you more money!

Underwear and dresses can be purchased relatively cheaply from local stores or have a look at,, and elsewhere on the web. On your first night, I would advise you stick to whatever you feel sexiest in!

It might be a good idea to take a trip to your favourite lingerie shop and try some different styles to get a better idea of what suits you. Don’t be afraid to try new designs and colours, ask for advice from the shop assistants and take a pair of heels to really test-the-look! After all – this is your uniform and feeling confident in it will allow you to earn more money!

Another important point to consider when selecting an outfit is how easy it is to remove and put back on. Typically, UK clubs offer 3-minute fully nude dances – which may be the most popular option that evening, don’t be slowed down by zips, hooks and corsets that will be fiddly in low light!

Other than your outfit, you can add optional accessories like stockings, kimonos, jewellery and accessories. And of course – you will need a pair of nice high heeled shoes to finish your look and a small lightweight purse to keep your cash/tokens safe!

STRIPPER HACK: I store a small vibrator and lubricant in my purse – which I use only in the VIP dances over half an hour! This is motivation for my customer to have a more lengthy dance, and therefore, pay a higher rate.

.: Hair and Makeup :.

You are going to be aiming to look as attractive as possible to aid your earning potential.

For some dancers, this could be an everyday routine with a bit of red lippy! Or you can go for a completely out-of-character makeup look if you’re hoping not to be recognised at work!

Wigs also work very well for masking your identity. Although please be aware that dancers often get very warm at work and wigs only make this worse!

If you feel sexy, you will look sexy! Have some fun with your colour palette or go for a classic look and wow your customers!

.: Hygiene Products :.

If you’re concerned about staying fresh at work, it’s worth adding your preferred deodorant, body spray, perfume, baby wipes, tampons and alcohol hand gel.

STRIPPER HACK: Be wary of products containing glitter, as they may be a problem for your married customers!

.: The Legal Stuff :.

You will also most likely be asked to bring some photographic ID and a recent letter from your home address. This is usually only on your first night and these are kept on file by the club.
